Hi you guys, I wish to join your site! Don't expect WRs from me (yet)
though...
This week I broke all my course records! I think the element of competition
will help me get even better. I'm a little hesitant to use my real name, so
I altered my surname. Everything else is right though, including my times!

On my second day as a member, I focused on f-laps in the Mushroom and Flower
Cup courses. Result: 8 f-lap PRs, and 2 course PRs along the way, ARR down
by more than 1! I'm happy :-)

I seem unable to stop amazing myself! 8 new PRs today, with an overall
improvement of more than 9 seconds, and a 0.2813 drop in ARR!
Say, perhaps I can join the Dutch rivalry around the #200 spot with Mike,
Dion, Douwe and Enzio? After all, I am Dutch as well, I also play 60 Hz and
I'm rapidly closing in on them. Just a thought...

I knew my BC time could be improved, but by 4 seconds??! I kept beating my
fresh records with a second! At the end, my splits were faster than my old
flap! This is going to upset my rivals... :-)

That Enzio is driving me insane! It would appear that my rival has beaten me
in achieving the ED status. Well, at least I'm an expert now too, I have all
AA standards, and I have beaten him to the 28\ufffd minute barrier. I managed to
save some honour... :-)

I accidentally found a 'new' trick on DDD: sliding through the quicksand. It
was only afterwards that I found out that this trick is already used by
Tanney among others. Despite being a noob, I can however testify that if you
do it right (or if you're lucky), it does save time!

I've read something on the homepage about Bart Savelkouls. You pass one
Dutch and another one's already waiting to be passed! Well, Bart seems just
like a "zittende eend". Some impressive course times, less impressive lap
times. Anyway, these 4 new PRs may very well be just enough to pass him on
AF. Next stop: Misja Fockens! How far to Vincent?
As for DDD: 0'30 barrier broken! It's also my second top-100 time! Woohoo!!

Why is it that I can't do three good laps on LC? Why is it that seemingly
identical laps yield a 0"2 difference in laptime? And why is it that my best
lap times don't add up below 1'19, the only EB standard I don't have yet?

Unbelievable! I jumped 2 standards and 45 places with an astonishing BC-lap,
almost 1 sec below my PR! I'm still trying to get my course time down, but I
haven't managed yet because of all the risks I have to take to beat the
fireballs.
O yeah, and a small improvement on MB-lap.

Here's the plan: first get EA, then getting all my times up to EA, get some
more hero's, some more top-100 times, and ultimately be in top-100 overall.
I may also get married, raise some children, but that's beside the point.
Here's a humble step toward this goal: an extra EA, and more than 1 point in
AF. My DKM-session went as usual: at my 2nd try I beat my PR with half a
second, and afterward I can't even get close to this time. :-D

How hard can it be not to do anything stupid for 3 min?

At one point, I went for flap, cause my first lap wasn't that good, got the
flap, finished the race, and guess what? Course PR! With a moderate first
lap, an inferior shroomspot... But I couldn't beat it, cause I kept messing
up. Finally, I did it. Double EA. And now I'm going to ignore RR as long as
I can!
