So another one to join the mkdd community :-)
I'm quite new to mkdd but in former times I used to play smk. As you can
see I'm some kind of oldie ;-)
I only had enough time to practice LC. I did the other tracks only once
just to complete my set.

I'm really happy breaking my PR I posted yesterday for about 1.5 seconds
plus getting a new flap.
The first lap was crap, 27"xxx with x=7, so I thought OK, go for a 0:2:0
strat and try a flap. And got it!
So just a comfortable last lap with 26"8 and voila: New PR. I was really
surprised.
But what makes me really happy is I know I can improve the first lap a
lot :-)

So I finally had a few hours to play other tracks than LC.
I think I can improve a lot on PB. I used a 0:2:0 strat and shroomed in
the right turn after the finish line.
This lap was also the flap, but the first and third lap were full of
mistakes and missed MTs.
BP on the other hand will be my most hated track for sure! I'm quite
happy to break the 1'10 and I have no idea to get 1'08 or even less...

Nothing to be really proud of. Actually it was the first time I played
both tracks for more than five minutes and I just wanted to get both of
them sub 2'xx! Of course there is plenty of space for improvement.
It's only the lack of time.....:-(

I had a few minutes this weekend and tried to improve my really worse
times.
DDD is quite OK for a dozen tries but I still have problems mastering
the shortcut with only one shroom. I know I can easily go <1'40.
DKM on the other hand will need a lot more practice to go <2'00.
Finally SL and BC are still one of those tracks that only show
"---------" on the fifth place in my records :-)
So the times are nothing to be proud of (especially BC) but I know I can
do a lot better if I try a fifth run ;-)
Altogether just a slight improvement in Total Time...

So...let's see..too much tracks to write a big story but this bunch
shows that there was really a vast space for improvement. I just had a
few hours the last two days and tried to cut down my really really
crappy times.
I mainly focused on DDD and SL, and with SL I feel quite comfortable.
Used a 1-0-1 and managed to get through this d**n f*****g skaters in the
last lap. This took me a lot of time. The other tracks only show slight
improvement, I need to concentrate especially on DKM, WC and RR.
But thats enough for now and best of all cuts the Total Time to
sub30....time to sleep!

I just wanted to send these four times to bring my Total to a 29:30...
On RR I still got problems with the spiral at the end. The flap is a
0-shroomer btw.
3:09 is quite OK but I almost ever miss some of the zippers...so more to
come!
The WS time was a 2-try attempt to get the above Total. There is a lot
of room for improvement and 1:48 is possible without tearing my hair
out...

Today no comment on these times, I'm too lazy and they are really really
nothing special...
Hmm, OK, I cannot leave without some words.
For DC: It took me just a few tries to bring this from my 1'53 to a
<1'50 but my real goal was to shorten the gap between the siterecord and
my time to <10 secs.
For WS: A "turn on the cube and do one race before work" PR......
And for WC: Nearly six seconds between this time and my former PR. And
this was the last track where I only had four tries on the memory card.
So I gave it a try after watching Paul's vid. Thank you for that!

I swear if I ever gonna reach sub1'17 and a flap of 8'xxx
I will never touch this track again in my whole life.
