Hi. Though I know my times aren't even Intermediate level, I'd like to join
up to see how I measure up overall. I'm a big fan--and perhaps one of the
older fans--of your site. I'm considered an ace karter by friends and
family, and outside of occasional practice, the main reason I got so good is
through tips from your videos and chat forum. Thanks to all of the amazing
karters on the MKDD Players' Page. Hope to see you all setting new records
for MK:DS as soon as it comes out.

Yesterday was a glorious day, with a lot of progress within an hour. Today
was a typical day, with small progress in two or three hours. No new
standards, no big jumps in the charts. Two of the four PRs don't even gain
me a single spot. The Dutch top 10 is so close, but yet so far away...

Yoshi Circuit: frustrations, frustrations, frustrations. Lined up for a PR,
total cock-up in the last lap. And then, while being pumped with anger,
comes my third 33" f-lap time; it's an HC! And in the race immediately after
that a gigantic 3-lap PR! I just missed HD, while my 3rd lap was more than a
tenth slower than my 2nd. Disappointed? No, I must be grateful for not
messing up my last lap in that run.
This must be the first time in a very long time that a 3-lap and f-lap PR
are two standards apart!
