I've raced WS a few minutes ago, with sc and without sc, see below.

I done the shortcut 2 times in my record -race, my result; 1'48'075.
I don't think its pretty good.

I also done it without shortcut to see if i'd become better, cause
my times are still dramatic, Non Shortcut: 1'49'826.

MB: First try :) Small .010 improvement.
MCR: Laps 31'8 30'5 30'0 0-1-1. Lap 3 was nice.
DDJ: An extra shroom, yet only a .07 improvement. Makes
no sense.
BC: Funny story.. I'm racing a 2'27'7 ghost (that was a
2.2 sec PR, btw), and
I'm miles ahead on lap 3, and for the first time manage
to beat the bowser fireball at
the drop-off shortcut (lap 3). I pause at the zipper
jump.. I'm feeling nervous (since I'm 2+ seconds
ahead with one corner to go) so I wipe my hands clean,
and get ready to hit Continue...
and somehow hit Quit instead! Needless to say, I'm not
in a good mood! But I just laugh it off :)
By quitting I lost my 2'27 ghost, but I wanted to keep
trying. On the next attempt,
again I get low 48, sub 48, and beat the fireball on the
lap 3 drop-off shortcut.
I made sure not to pause this time!
Laps were 48'36 47'88 49'60 1-1-0. My attempt before
that was faster, 48'1!! 47'9 and had
a better looking final lap (I can do 48'9 no shroom).
Anyway, I chop off yet another 2 seconds, 4 overall in
an hour. Yay.
And then I notice my 47'88 1 shroomer, and my 47'76
flap... so I retry,
and on the very next attempt I tie Guillaume for an SR!
His was probably a 1 shroomer
anyway ... I still hate this course, though.

Nothing really great there. I've gotten 25"8xx 1-shroomers on SL, and
several mid-high 26" 0-shroomer 1st laps, so I'll really need to play the
track more. DC is ok... but let's say it will be relatively easy to improve
again next time I play it.

Hello, this is Frederic Billaudel from Norway. I have to exuse me because my times on mario kart double dash are not true. I think there is someone who has been kidding with me and get the password to my email adress, and then sent in the times. I have NOT sent in the times I swear. I saw them a few days ago. Peoples know that I am good in mario kart and maybe they sent in some great times for kidding with me. I have a set with times but not that great times. I really excuse all the time you guys has spent for updating my times but believe me, it was not my fault. Now I am going to write down my real times and I hope you guys understand me. DDJ: 36'2 35'6 37'4 1-1-0. I changed my flap shroom from the dino bridge
(SSMT instead)
to the zipper bridge, before the cave entry.
RR: Laps 1'02'1 1'01'8 1'01'6 0-0-2. Last lap was a bit dodgy for a 2
shroomer.
WC: 1'03'8 1'03'0 0-2.
MCT: *grin* I broke 1'40 four times on the 3lap. Hopefully Michael will
fight back on the flap.
Laps on the above race were 33'422 32'922 33'139 0-1-1. My next best first
lap is 33'52,
and after that 33'63, so I got fairly lucky to get such a good start.
Final lap has annoying trucks at the end, so I couldn't do a few SSMTs that
I'd normally go for.
My best 0-1-1 laps are 33'42 32'92 32'98 (2 of them in my PR), and 0-0-2 are
33'42 33'10 32'72... so I've pretty much maxed my potential.
